Riku (Final Fantasy) Pattern

April 6, 2011 at 7:40 pm (Future Projects) (, , )

Wow, I keep going on a roll. Three posts today (or at least so I think). Anyhow, I was fooling around on my computer and found a new pattern that I really like and will add for the voting. It’s Riku from Final Fantasy (the picture has a grid because it’s the stitched view from KG Chart resized down).

She actually turned out really well and there was next to no editing that needed to be done to the final product. Bright colours, which is a bit of change for me as most of my pictures tend to be darker colours.

I actually think that Final Fantasy X had some great characters. So far, they are also turning out to make great patterns. But enough of that, let’s get down to the important stuff which is the details.

18 Count Aida (Think I may go linen for it though)
139 stitches wide X 192 high
Total colours: 67
Total stitches: 26 668

Not bad, definitely one of the smallest patterns that I have done by far. Not that it is a bad thing, just means I will get it done a lot quick and see progress much faster than what I normally do. I think it will be a fun project all in all and I will definitely have to post it on the Sprite Stitch forum as I can see other people wanting the pattern.

Now I promise that this will be my last update for the night. Even if I decide to snap a photo of my progress on Wesker I will leave it for tomorrow. I’ve given everyone enough to read already.

*UPDATE* If you want to do this pattern I uploaded the sth and pdf files here: http://www.spritestitch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3413

You have to risk it all if you’re ever gonna win big!

Assassin’s Creed Pattern

April 6, 2011 at 4:52 pm (Future Projects) (, , , )

Alright, time to reveal pattern idea #3 for my next project. This is from a game that I loved playing, both in the storyline and online modes. And here it is:

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. I love the fact that you have your main assassin in the front, and all the other playable characters for the online play lined up in the background. Of course you meet some of them during the game play but let’s be realistic – killing people online is a lot more fun.

So let’s get down to the details:

 18 count Aida
500 wide X 186 high
53 Colours
93 000 stitch count

Lots of work, but once again it turned out to be a great pattern when I threw it into to KG Chart. Once again, so many patterns that I want to do and not enough time to do it all. Sadly, I love them all so it’s going to be up to you guys! I’m remembering so many of my favourite games so I keep looking for pictures! Maybe not the best idea…

I called him Waggleton P. Tallylicker…

Heavenly Sword Pattern

April 6, 2011 at 12:19 pm (Future Projects) (, , )

I posted this on the Sprite Stitch forum a not too long ago, but this is another pattern idea that I have for my next project. It comes from the video game Heavenly Sword and there is just something about this picture I absolutely love.

Once again this will be one of the patterns that I am going to put in a poll for you to decide on. It’s too hard for me to pick which one I want to do when realistically I want to do them all!

As per usual, here are the details:

18 count aida (white) / white linen
300 wide x 328 high
61 colours
Total stitch count: 105 644

Because I’ve already posted this, it means it needs no editing and is ready to go. Now I just have to finish editing my final fantasy one.

Let me know what you think. This is pattern two in a series of who knows how many for you to decide from. I figure until I’m just about done with Wesker, I’m going to see patterns or pictures that I like.

How weird is that?
